Selected press coverage of CERN Critics Movement

Tinfoil Condition Red! LHC 7 TeV mega-blasts tomorrow
'Though of course he faces stiff opposition in the fruitcake rankings from retired chemistry prof Otto Rössler, who feels that LHC boffins might avoid imploding the Earth only to carelessly compact the Moon down to the size of a pea, or perhaps put out the Sun.'

Mission Stop ‘Devils Workshop’ Large Hadron Collider
Playing with subatomic particles is not just as easy which reflects back Hiroshima and Nagasaki incident and every individual should know that fact. The mission has started to stop the devils workshop, all are invited those who are concerned let BLACK HOLE (Biblical Devil) don’t eat away our only surviving planet! If EARTH was formed naturally then why these arrogant crazy minded scientists are are trying to cease it? It may be noted that recent debate and finding of water traces in Moon surface is something related to CERN experiments which was carried out without concern from religious leaders world across.

Large Hadron Collider Could Kill Moon

'Professor Doctor Otto E. Roessler has given a revealing interview on the dangers that the LHC poses to the universe. The 77 year old is described as a “respected multidisciplinary scientist”, but he has had the courage to turn against the global scientific conspiracy and speak out against the LHC. Miniature black holes, Roessler claims, will radiate from the device, spelling the end for Earth’s much loved satellite.'

Atom Smashing Particle Collision biggest of its kind at Geneva’s LHC
'The Large Hadron Collider in Geneva cost around the $10 billion to build it. There has been public concern for safety that the LHC could possibly successfully create a black hole and cause unknown hazard for the Earth.'

Could the missing particles which have are being searche for by high energy experiments at CERN be all about illusion and delusion? Scientists expect these particles because a favoured theory says that we need them so, they devise an artificial means to create them and conclude that they do exist naturally. This seems, to me, to be an attempt to alter the facts to fit the theories. As the experiments at CERN progress, by adding more and more energy, the artificial nature of the results seems to progress. It seems that they try to create, at least some of, the high energy states which ocurred at the time of the big bang but, are they creating states which are only similar - but are they similar enough to be valid? Have those who are involved and, who support, CERN stopped gathering data in order to reach the next level and begun concentrating on "proving" theories which are based on "insufficient data?" I usually try to avoid such extreme criticism because there seem to be many people who regularly resort to it because such destructive means are an easier cop out than adding things of positive value but, I do feel that negative criticism has an ocasional purpose. Futhermore I am not suggesting that the experiments at CERN are a waste of time; I do know of the importance of negative data.

Professor Otto E. Roessler: Dear Planet

Dear Planet:

The highest director of the Albert-Einstein-Institute, which is the most prestigious institution of its kind on the planet, Professor Gerhard Huisken, yesterday agreed to sending me material confirming my differential-geometric new (actually not that new) results in general relativity - on which my danger warning is based concerning the LHC experient which is being launched these very minutes unless still stopped by a miracle. This without any counteragrguments offered to my mine which point to a 1:12 danger of this experiment as planned today causing Armageddon within a few years time.

I am asking Professor Huisken's forgiving that I am mentioning his authority without having been authorized by himself to do that. This is bad
manners indeed that are only allowed - demanded - in a situation of acute danger. to everone concerned.

Sincerely yours, Prof. Otto E. Rossler, Chaos researcher, University of Tubingen. 11:15 AM, March 30, 2010

About Professor Otto E. Roessler

Rössler is a world famous scientist, a multiple Nobel prize nominee, an elected member of the Leibniz Sozietät, he held professorships in theoretical physics and mathematics among many others, and has published numerous papers in general relativity among his about 500 scientific publications, is world reknowned for the invention of the "Rossler attractor," the simplest and most frequent chaos found in nature, is the discoverer of "hyperchaos," of the "brain equation," of the "Rossler task," of the new science of "endophysics," he holds some prizes (Chaos prize, Descartes Award), is a frequently quoted author, got several festschrifts and is the father of "Lampsacus hometown of all persons on the Internet" years before google and wikipedia were founded. His publications until 2001 are collected in the form of brief abstracts in a book that is on the Internet. He was a close friend of famous physicist Carl-Friedrich von Weizsäcker who was responsible for his first Max-Planck appointment, and of nobelist Konrad Lorenz because both were intrigued by his theory of chemical evolution found when he was 21. Jointly with his wife, he discovered chaotic heart arrhythmia and the aging equation. But the fact that he rediscovered endophysics, first seen by Boscovich in 1755, which led to his black hole equation, is perhaps Rössler's greatest achievement.

The concerns of Prof. Otto E. Roessler as well as Dr. Wagner are mentioned in this article requesting caution at CERN that appears at http://beginuum.blogspot.com.

We should all demand caution at CERN.

Germany's Highest Court Rules On LHC: "Put Up, Or Shut Up!"

Link: http://layscience.net/node/974

This is a quote from an article published at Lay Science March 11 2010:

'So the LHC is really big, and really complicated. But what does this mean for our safety? Black holes are scary stuff, especially if they happen to suddenly appear in your backyard. Of course, the people at CERN conducted some studies (here and here) on this, and even did an excellent outreach for laypersons addressing these safety concerns. But still, some people are of the opinion that, even though they have no clue what this sciencey thing is all about, they sure as fuck are experts on its dangerous and potentially disastrous implications and results. They have an opinion, in fact, they have a very, very strong opinion on the matter. So they complain. So they get media coverage, because the media just love the "Maverick is kept down by Cabal of Evil Science Guys"-angle. Even though most people who actually know what the hell is going on are getting more and more annoyed by this.'

We just love this part of the rambling at Lay Science 'most people who actually know what the hell is going on are getting more and more annoyed by this'.

LHC to shut down for a year to address design faults

Link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8556621.stm

This is a quote from an article published at BBC News March 10 2010:

'The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) must close at the end of 2011 for up to a year to address design issues, according to an LHC director.

Dr Steve Myers told BBC News the faults will delay the machine reaching its full potential for two years.

The atom smasher will reach world record collision energies later this month at 7 trillion electron volts. '

No proof atom-smasher will end world

Link: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaking-news/no-proof-atom-smasher-will-end-world/story-e6frf7jx-1225838916752

This is a quote from an article published at Herald Sun March 9 2010:

'A GERMAN woman's fear Earth is to be sucked into oblivion in a black hole has failed in a court bid to halt the world's most powerful atom-smasher.

The Constitutional Court in the western Germany city of Karlsruhe threw out the woman's appeal because she was "unable to give a coherent account of how her fears would come about."

"The overwhelming scientific opinion is that the experiments carried out at CERN (the European Organisation for Nuclear Research) present no dangers," the court added.'
